My first original illustration of 2024, the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese calendar. Character design for a potential strategy game based on chess, featuring a petite queen imbued with the ancestral powers of a light dragon. The concept is that each chess piece functions as units in a tactical RPG group, aiding a young and inexperienced king in saving his kingdom. Studies, sketches, final artwork, and all finishing processes were done in Procreate. No AI art, with Glaze Filter applied.
